With most foreign travel still grounded, now is the opportune time to take advantage of being a tourist in your own country. The following outfit ideas will have you looking fashionable, staying comfortable, and keeping cool while you explore your own backyard.

A white dress is a summer holiday staple thanks to its versatility. A mini dress in summer white is easy to throw on over your bathing suit, keep you cool and comfortable for a day of sightseeing, or dress up for a meal at your local restaurant. The styling possibilities are endless and you can think of it as a blank canvas. This allows you to invite color into your look via the accessories and accompanying pieces.
I’ve chosen to style my mini dress with an oversized blazer in a you-won’t-lose-me-in-a-crowd color, wooden sandals, and a silk-free scarf tied as a bag. Feel free to let loose here and pick vibrant or even neon colors. You are on holiday after all and that means all colors are welcome.

Oversized Linen Blazer + Pastel Bermuda Shorts + Gladiator Sandals
Summer pastels make the perfect color palette to feel relaxed, which is why they’re ideal for vacation time. They also style well together, which makes it a breeze for you to mix and match the limited wardrobe you packed.
A light linen blazer in a pale color will keep the sun off your shoulders without making you too hot and it’s just the answer for those evening strolls on the beach or nights around the campfire.
The perfect complement to your loose-fitting blazer is some cotton Bermuda shorts. Bermuda shorts have been trending for a few seasons now and don’t seem to be going anywhere. Find yourself a pair in a cheery color like sunshine yellow and style them with comfortable shoes such as gladiator, dad, or fisherman sandals to make exploring your own or a new city more enjoyable.
