See How Easily You Can Style White Vegan Boots for Winter
Styling chunky black boots is a cakewalk and I showed you five of my favorite ways in my Coolest Vegan Combat Boots You’re Probably Never Heard Of post. However, you take similar boots in white and you’re left staring blankly into your closet. 😕 Or is it just me?
If they intimidate you like they do me, have no fear as I’ve put together three super cool looks to show off my awesome new white lug-sole boots [gifted]. 100% vegan; 100% stylish!
These unapologetically cool-girl boots emit a bit of grunge, a slash of casual, a pinch of sporty, and a bucketload of class. Honestly, I was shocked as to how uncomplicated it was to style these beauties.
I had created a number of outfits in my head and they all worked perfectly with these sci-fi-esque boots, which makes me not afraid to label these as the ultimate addition to your spring wardrobe. Not to mention, they’re also the ideal vegan replacement for all the trending white leather stompers inundating your insta feed (I’m lookin’ at you Ganni, Dr. Martens, and Bottega Veneta).
Mid-length Parka + Midi Skirt
This first look was inspired by Prada and features a belted thigh-length parka that I paired with a lacy lavender midi skirt. The accessories were kept extremely minimal so that the astronaut boots could steal the show. And boy did they ever elevate this look!
Choosing a paler and more subdued color palette makes it easier for white boots to not appear so overpowering and be the first thing that catches your eye. Also, using a black belt to cinch the waist of your puffer jacket draws the eye upwards and keeps the main focus on your outfit rather than your footwear.

Ski Jacket + Floral Dress
While Prada’s fall runway show was the inspiration for the first look, this next outfit features a ski-jacket-as-fashion-statement à la Louis Vuitton. To achieve this look, select a shorter-length ski jacket as it lets the girly frock breathe rather than drowning it. This combo also works best with an above-the-knee skirt as your bare legs help to balance out the bulkier fabric of the coat and dress.
And I say, the more over-the-top the skirt (or bottom portion of your dress) the better. Spotted an awesome puffball of a dress at the thrift shop you were dying to buy but didn’t know how to style it or have a sweet prom dress sitting in the back of your closet waiting for a second chance? Breathe new life into these pieces by styling them in this very current way.
As the outfit’s color palette consists of lighter shades, black combat boots would have dominated this look. That’s what makes this white version the best option. Similar to the last look, the outfit is a talking piece on its own so it doesn’t require the addition of many accessories. A chain-handle bag and wrap-around sunglasses were added for fun.

Oversized Black Jacket + White Midi Dress
You’d be hard-pressed to go wrong with the timeless styling of black and white and it works whether you’re trying to style chunky white or black boots.
